Jenn Chou / Project Manager

Jenn graduated from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics. During her time at UT, Jenn interned in Account Management at SicolaMartin in Austin, Texas, and then at DDB in Chicago, Illinois. After deciding that she wasn’t ready to let go of her Austin roots just yet, Jenn returned to Texas and joined Creative Suitcase.

At our graphic design company, Jenn wears many hats – from client relations to marketing campaign coordinator to creative wrangler. She does all this with a bit of grace under pressure and an eye on budgets and schedules. Her client roster includes HomeAway, KUT and United Way. Plus, if you ever need a screamo/metalcore/post-hardcore/alternative/punk concert buddy, Jenn’s the one to ask; she’s always up for a night out of live music, good food and good friends.

Favorite travel destination:
Anywhere that I haven’t been before.

Place you’d like to travel next:
Loire Valley in France. I took an architecture class at UT as a freshman and fell in love with one of the buildings, Chateau de Chenonceau. It sits on these beautiful arches across the River Cher framed by the gardens of Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medicis.

Something that’s always in your suitcase:
Burts Bees chapstick. I’m obsessed with the stuff.

Favorite word:
Mer to suggest indifference, usually accompanied by a shrug.

What gets your creativity pumping?
Wide range of things: a break up, hunger, sleeplessness, coffee, good weather.

If you weren’t working in advertising, what would you be doing?
I love going to concerts and I love to plan and manage things, so the ideal solution would be to be a tour manager. Who wouldn’t want to get paid to run and watch the show every night in a different city/country?

Would you rather be able to fly or turn invisible?
Fly. I’m too good-looking to be invisible!
