Move away from being just a radio station and toward being a media outlet both on air and online.

Create a new brand to emphasize this shift and help both the audiences and producers own the brand identity.

Teach KUT producers to adopt and use the brand in a consistent manner without the help of a Brand Manager.

Solution

Perform in-depth research with the public and interview key tastemakers.

Produce a logo made up of the many voices of Austin, which combine and flow into a single and evolving sound stream. The logo represents the variety of viewpoints, ideas and eclectic tastes that make up our city.

Create an extensive style guide to explain proper uses of the logo as well as it’s supporting typography, color palettes and other attributes to connect the brand family into a cohesive whole.
